Dress Code

In the Clubhouse (including the outdoor terrace):
  
Smart, clean and dry casual and golf clothing is allowed in all Clubhouse rooms, except the Snug and Dining Room.
In the Snug jacket and tie must be worn.
In the Dining Room, Gentlemen should wear a jacket and tie for formal Club dinners, Club matches etc. For less formal events, such as meals after mixed competitions, Sunday lunches etc. Gentlemen should wear a jacket with tie optional.
Smart casual dress is acceptable for Gentlemen’s presentations, but jacket and tie is required for meals after the presentations for the Taylor and Pierpoint Memorial Trophies. 
Golf shoes with metal spikes are not permitted anywhere in the Clubhouse.
During the playing season (1st April to 31st October) the whole of the ground floor, except for the Smoke, Snug and Card room, will be accessible to clean, dry soft spike and spikeless golf shoes. From 1st November to 31st March golf shoes are not permitted anywhere in the Clubhouse (besides the changing rooms).
Gentlemen should wear socks at all times.
Jeans, “cargo-style” trousers and shorts, tracksuits, gym wear and trainer shoes are not allowed anywhere in the Club. 
Gentlemen should remove headwear of any type when indoors.
Ladies may wear casual clothing in all rooms. 

On the Course, Putting Green & Practice Ground:

Golf attire to be worn at all times.
Gentlemen should wear collared shirts (tucked into the trousers/shorts).
Where shorts are worn, these must be tailored: cargo-style shorts, beach shorts etc. are not allowed.
Where short socks are worn with shorts, these should cover the ankle and be predominantly white.
Golf shoes must be worn and metal-spikes are recommended during winter months for safety reasons.
Golf shoes must not be changed in the car park.
